This sandpit might not be quite as long as the beautiful Hebridean beach (Traigh Lar) which inspired its name,
but it can happily take two pre-schoolers and their biggest diggers.
Tra-laa is made from reclaimed softwood packing case timber with preservative coating,
and the clear twin-wall lid is light enough for youngsters to open up
when the urge to dig grips them.…. (and close again afterwards, naturally).
The lid is in two halves for easy access, and keeps out rain, leaves, next-door's cat, etc etc.
Just add sand, suitable large-scale toys, children,
and let them dig their way to the horizon!
