Salvaged - nay - rescuedby Foxwood from the jaws of the bulldozers during the demolition of the famous Skindles hotel, the scarred beams have many a tale to tell. Skindles was originally built in the 1740s, so these beams could be from 400yr old wood. Reclaimed from many parts of the hotel and stable block, each beam is completely unique and Foxwood has carefully revealed their inner beauty. Sanded whilst retaining character, then oiled and waxed to bring out the pattern of beautiful aged wood.
